I turned a Heel!
Felt like working on my knitting these past few days. I had a sock on my needles and I had stopped because I was at the point of turning the heel. This was a little bit out of my experience.
I picked this pattern because I thought it was easy and the directions were clearly explained. But, this part of it I just couldn’t understand. Today, I found a great video the showed it and I finally understood the instructions.
So here is my first attempt. I think it came out pretty good. The stitches are a bit loose, but I think it will work out.

Congratulations! Pretty sock! So far, I’ve made one pair of infant socks, a real quick knit and you do feel so accomplished being able to make one. Also check out http://www.knittinghelp.com for good instructions and videos.
Thank you. I picked up my gussets too and I am working on the foot decreases. Wow! I am loving it. Maybe I will finish it this weekend.
A beautiful job!! I’m very impressed!
Hooray! Another sock knitter has joined the ranks! Your first heel looks way better than mine did
