Episode 28

Listen to the podcast of this post

I didn’t talk about too much this week, just caught you up on what has been going on the last two weeks.

Thank you to everyone who sent emails and left comments. Now that things are somewhat back to normal (at least until the house buying gets moving), I will have more time to post and more time to be on Facebook and Twitter; maybe I will even get my Ravelry and Flickr going.

Janie shared more pictures with us this week. Thank you so much, Janie. This is her latest quilt that was entered into a quilt show. As usual, Janie’s applique work is esquisite (did I spell that right?).

I had dinner at Christini’s - Great restaurant!

This is the tote bag I purchased at the Gift Market.  It was from Crazy Creations (sorry, no phone number)

I couldn’t take pictures at the Fine Arts Festival of Ocala, but I found two great booths.  Check out their websites.

Morgan’s art work featured at FAFO – I made her sit next to it so you could judge the size.  Go ahead, laugh: you know I did!

I’m finally getting around to commenting about your most recent podcast. The costumes you made are absolutely adorable! I wish I had little ones to sew for again — I miss that so much!

I can’t believe how much you accomplish, considering how busy you are!

Hi, I liked Morgan’s costume. She makes a wonderful Dorthy. The dog’s outfit is cute as well.

Hello Brye…first, I think you have about the cutest daughter ever! If you ever get tired of her, send her my way!
Janie’s quilt…something to aspire to, that’s for sure. How beautiful! Her work is amazing, she is so talented.
    Loved the podcast, as always

Hi Brye, WOW what an amazing quilt fron Janie, it really gives me some motivation to get off my behind and try and do more stitching. I’m dying to get working on my applique quilt, but promised myself to finished a few UFO’s first. Morgan is just sooooooo cute and so is puppy. Keep up the great podcasting, I just love it, I could listen to your talk for a couple of hours, not just one, so don’t think you are boring us. Take care, Vanessa in Australia

WOW! Janie’s applique is so awesome. It looks very simple in that there are only a few different (from this photo) pieces – maybe one type of flower and one type of leaf, but the precision they are put on, and the pattern created by the bias – amazing!

Sorry you did all that work for the scarecrow costume and it wasn’t used for very long. At least you got to share the pictures with us! :)

Your kids are so talented – must get it from you!

I think even without a “researched topic” you had a whole lot to share with us – I learned a lot – as always.
