Episode 14 – Catching Up
Listen to the podcast of this postThis week I just caught you up on what I have been doing and how my projects are going. No topic, but plenty of craftiness.
My traveling with my stitching went very well. Here are some pictures of how I organized everything.

I wound my thread onto bobbins and they all fit into a pin case. I left the ends hanging out so that I could get thread without opening up the case.
Here is my lastest block finished or the Frolic Quilt. I did this while on the road to DC.
Here are the blocks I received from the Facebook Quilt Block Swap.
Check out my daughter’s “Flower Party”!
Don’t forget to answer our question of the week.
Email me pictures of your projects and your ideas of what you would like to see in an iPhone App.

I am Brye Lynn, host, author, and creator of Sew ~ Stitch ~ Create! I am a lifetime sewer and beginner quilter. This blog is dedicated to my journey into the crafting world as I learn and explore my favorite medium – fiber and fabric.

I am impressed that were so organized for your trip! (or “sew organized” as the case may be). I love the bobbin idea. I will have to keep that in mind for my next trip.
Oh and have you seen the new winter fabric line from connecting threads? I just got an email about the “snow days” line and I think it is just adorable!
Loved the podcast – again! Thanks for the shout out too. And hooray on the not having to go to the conference, but boo on the not getting extra applique time.
Another interesting podcast. Glad you had a good vacation. I think your basket was by far the most intricate. No wonder she picked it to show off. Too bad about the all the quilt shops you might have missed. They should have given you a chance at at least one. Ya gotta be little selfish once in awhile. And when I got my Bernina, I did sew better. Still trying to get machine quilting down to where I don’t think I’m ruining the whole project.
Happy quilting.
