Things that Make Me Smile
Posted by Brye Lynn on Apr 20, 2009 in Uncategorized |
Everything in my life has a purpose, even if that purpose is just to make me smile! Here are few things recently that made me smile.
My handmade coffee cup. I picked this up at a craft fair about five years ago. I love it! It has groves that fit my fingers perfectly.
When my kids get along. Nothing is sweeter to me than this picture. I wish every moment of everyday was like this.

Hi
I’ve just discovered you following other quilting podcasts for a couple of years now. Mostly Quilting Stash with Annie Smith. You offer yet another refreshing perspective.
One topic I’d like to learn more about is environmental and ethical production of fabric. Are there implications of making one choice over another? Are people getting fair wages under reasonable working conditions? This knowledge might better inform us about how much and which fabrics to buy. Other than Cranston Printworks, Timeless Treasures in Rhode Island, I think they are the only US producers.
And BTW- I have a treat coming up.For my 50th birthday quilting adventure I’m going a Ricky Tim’s Seminar soon. I’m going to Maryland next week! I can’t wait!
I love it when the kids are playing quietly together, blending their interests…dolls and Star Wars legos can live harmoniously together!
