Shopping!

Well, there will be no quilt store or craft store visits this weekend.  Last night, I went Amazon shopping and spent my weekly allowance on new books!  I can’t wait for them to come in!!! Last week, I was listening to Craftcast with Allison Lee and she reviewed a book called “Fabricate“. 

After looking it up, I had to have it!!!  Don’t you love the feature on Amazon where you can kind of flip through the book; I think if they didn’t show some of the inside pages, I probably wouldn’t have bought it.  Anyway, supersaver free shipping starts at $25 and the book was only about $16 so I had to continue shopping!!!

I will do a book review when they come in (5-9 days free shipping!!). After working all day, going to soccer practice, making dinner, shopping online, and helping my husband with a Xbox avatar, I was too tired to sew….. I prepared a few pieces for applique on my Frolic quilt, watched part of Willow with the kids and went to bed.
